How does the tape work?

RockTape microscopically lifts the skin away from the underlying muscles and tendons, creating a decompression effect (i.e. a reduction in subcutaneous pressure). It also acts on the subcutaneous receptors of the central nervous system, which can lead to a reduction in pain. RockTape is popular with lay people, but is also widely used by professional athletes and physiotherapists or doctors around the world. In competition with other tapes, it is popular for its superior flexibility, adhesion and strength.

What are its advantages?

• Accelerates healing of swelling by reducing subcutaneous pressure on the affected area,
• it helps in the correct posture of the body or in the necessary fixation of its parts, among other things by increasing the awareness of the current position or posture.

Tape detail:

• It is ultra-strong and adhesive to the skin,
• contains a hypoallergenic adhesive,
• it is waterproof,
• 97% cotton, 3% nylon,
• stretchability up to 180%, resulting in no restriction of full range of movement after application,
• latex andzinc-free,
• normally lasts 2 to 7 days after application,
• one pack of tape normally lasts for 5 to 10 tapings,
• dimensions of one roll of tape: 5 cm x 5 m.
