KIT CONTENTS

Each Reagen 10 RPTK test kit contains everything you need to perform one test:

• Test cassette

• Sterile swab

• Buffer for sample extraction

SAMPLE COLLECTION

Allow the test device and sample collection buffer to reach room temperature (20–30°C) before testing. Blow your nose before taking the nasal swab.

1. Remove the sterile swab from the packaging.

2. Insert the swab about 1.5–2 cm into the nostril until you feel resistance (maximum 1.2 cm in small children).

3. Rotate the swab several times against the inner wall of the nose. Repeat the procedure in the other nostril with the same swab.

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the aluminum foil from the extraction tube.

2. Dip the swab into the extraction tube so that the extraction buffer completely penetrates the swab, rotate the swab 5 times and squeeze it out, remove the swab and dispose of it.

3. Securely attach the cap to the sample collection tube. Gently shake the sample collection tube for about 5 seconds to mix the sample well with the sample collection buffer.

4. Drop 3 drops of the mixed sample vertically into the sample well on the test card and start the timer. Read the result after 10 minutes.

STORAGE AND PRESERVATION

Store in a sealed package in a refrigerator or at room temperature (+2°C - +30°C). Do not store in a freezer. The expiration date is printed on the package.
